Once we had decided on our documentary topic and began to research our topic a bit, the group produced a basic brainstorm to list all of the content that we initially planned to include in our documentary - this is subject to slightly change in some places, for example we may add more ideas or remove certain things. We separated the items on our list into five separate categories to make it easier to follow and to make sure we had an fairly even balance of different features of a documentary. The five categories are camera shots, interviews, archive material, editing and reconstruction. Our initial documentary planning brainstorm can be seen below.
