Here is our finished print advertisement.



The finished product is very similar to how we planned it, with one single central image on a plain white background with the Channel 4 logo to the right and a box in the bottom left corner containing the text. We tried to make the advert as closely represent an official Channel 4 print advert as possible, but opted not to use the typical Channel 4 font and instead used the same font that we used in the documentary to create consistency and a link between the two products. The advert was created in Adobe Photoshop and we cut the image of the meal out using the lasso tool before mounting it on the white background and smoothing out the edges with various tools such as the blur tool.

Evaluation Question 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

For the first question of the evaluation, I produced a director's commentary over the top of my documentary to comment on the different codes and conventions used within my documentary and when and how they are used.

Evaluation Question 2: How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

For the second question, I produced a Powerpoint presentation and converted it using SlideShare.org. Like in the rest of my evaluation, I made note of things that I would've done differently were I to do the project again.

Evaluation Question 3: What have you learned from your audience feedback?

For the third evaluation question I produced a video that compiled a selection of clips of me talking to camera, clips of my brother commenting on my work, images and on-screen font.
